I was wolken up this morning at like 5:45 in the morning because a frickin magpie was terrorising my pet duck. So i got my slingshot and picked up a rock. I really didn't know why but I shot and killed it. I feel terrible. I cried for like two hours. Are any of you like this, can't kill anything without balling.

This is natural, and shows you have respect for the animal. I am a hunter, and it is not an easy decision to shoot and kill. The remorse after the shot is remedied by considering all ethicals and legal aspects before you shoot. Ask yourself why you want (or need) to end the animals live. And if you don't have a good reason, leave the animal alive!

Don't feel bad, if he had the chance he would have killed your pet duck and you'd be grieving for it. It was a defensive reaction, and a good one.

By the way,  good shot.
